  19. kitteesPJs Says:

I have been insulin-resistant for, like, 40 years (since I was a little kid). Can that be turned around or has my body adapted in some freakazoid way?

  20. TheBadAssCanadian Says:

There’s a thing called metabolic typing. Everyone is different, but most people don’t handle carbohydrates very well. We are told to eat wheat and grains but something like 70% of people are actually gluten intolerant… though they may not show outward signs of it. The people who don’t get fat from refined carbs could still be at risk for diabetes, or maybe their metabolic type allows for them to handle it better than others.

  21. jhillst Says:

Did you ever do the follow-up video you talked about at the end? I’d like to know more about different kinds of grains. Some nutritionists have been pushing an “all grains are bad for you” idea and I’m not sure if I buy that.

  22. dmsanfil Says:

I know this is an older video by now, but I have a question… what about if someone eats a lot of refined carbs but doesn’t need to lose weight and isn’t obese? Can you explain some of the impact on health of this problem besides just storing fat? Thanks!!!

  23. metallicat61003 Says:

    eat whole grain breads!!!!
